How to Package your Products for Safe Delivery?

Properly packaging your items being shipped is an important step to ensure safe delivery to the recipient.

PREVENT PACKAGE DEMAGE

To ensure the safety of your packages contents pack heavier items on the bottom of the box, place packing bubbles, packing paper, etc. to eliminate open space in the box, ensure proper packing tape securely closes the box lids on all edges, top, bottom and centers to avoid the packages opening in transit.

USE THE RIGHT BOX

It starts with choosing the right box. Ideally you have a box that offers just enough room for your items and protective materials all around them. While a box doesn’t have to be new to be adequate for your needs, it needs to be free of defects and retain its shape. If the contents of your box are fragile write FRAGILE, DO NOT STACK on at least 2 sides of the box.

PACKAGE PRODUCT TIGHT

Packing the contents inside of your shipping box tight will ensure they do not move or bump against other contents in the box during transportation. Doing so will help to significantly reduce the risk of damage occurring to the contents during shipping.

USE GOOD PACKING TAPE

Once your box is packed, it’s time to seal it with plenty of the right kind of tape. Get packing tape, preferably two inches wide. Use more tape than seems necessary; in addition to making sure your boxes stay sealed, good tape can provide an additional measure of protection.
